Step-by-step Guide to How the Perfume Bar Works
Step 0 - Recall & Imagine (optional)
Start by envisioning your ideal scent—imagine the aroma of your best self (recommended), or draw from cherished stories, favourite travel spots, or life moments that evoke love and elegance. Feel free to share your own thoughts with us, our experts will guide you to spark ideas, setting the tone for your ONE & ONLY creation. You may also just come with empty-minded. Our perfumer will help you out.
Step 1 - Choose your scents
Choose 1-3 premium scents that resonate most with you (up to 5 maximum). Each additional scent beyond 3 adds +$50HKD for enhanced customization. Check out our full list of fragrance choices HERE.
Step 2 - Rate your favourites
Rank the selected essences from most favourite to least favourite. This helps our perfumer understand your preferences, ensuring the mix matches with your aura and becoming your favourite perfume.
Step 3 - Sniff different trials on perfume papers
Our perfumer will create different mixes for you, there are no limits - until you are satisfied!
Step 4 - Test it on skin & finalising your formula
Pick at least 2 of your favourite trials after sniffing, our perfumer will spray it on your wrist to ensure the scent goes well with your skin. Choose the one that feels perfect for you.
Step 5 - Pick your sticker colour & bottle cap
We have up to 15 sticker colours and 10 bottle cap styles for you to choose from - it’s the packaging of your perfume bottle! From solid to gradient colour, pick the one that vibes with the scent and you!
Step 6 - Refill and Extend your 'ONE & ONLY'
Fill out your exclusive formula card by hand—keep it safe! Come back to us anytime to refill your bottle once it's used up, or extend the formula to other fragrance products like scented candles, diffusers, or room mists for a comprehensive NOVERBA scented glow-up journey.
