Back in April 2024, NOVERBA FRAGRANCES brought its 'ONE & ONLY' Perfume Bar booth to the HKU Mini Carnival at Haking Wong Podium—a vibrant campus event designed to give students a much-needed break from studies, to help them focus on self-care and treat themselves by crafting their own bespoke perfume, turning a simple session into a moment of personal transformation. As a solopreneur and HKU student myself, it was thrilling to see nearly 300 students and staff come together, immersing themselves in the art of fragrance amid the carnival's energy.
Crafting ONE&ONLY Memories: Unique Scents from Student Stories
Each participant created their very own 'ONE & ONLY' perfume formula from 12 featured scents, spanning fruity, floral, animalic, and musky notes. Our champagne scent stole the show as the most popular, adding a sparkling, celebratory vibe to many blends. It was pure magic hearing stories and translating them into custom recipes—ones that resonated with their glow-up journeys and would linger in memories forever. As the carnival's most popular booth, we even extended the fragrance bar to another day during the post-exam period, allowing more students to unwind and emerge with a scent that elevated their aura, personality, and confidence with our fragrance creations.
